I know you have been receiving a great deal of correspondence from me to start the new year.  2011 is going to be a great year for our organization.  We are planning our signature events (Winter Weekend Retreat, Family Picnic, and Summer Camping Trip) as we do each year.  Also, this year we are looking for even more interaction with the family.  We want to extend and expound our family activities and interaction.  We want to extend our Community Service activity and expound on the achievements and accomplishments of the family. 

We are seeking Community Service opportunities that will allow us to get out as a family and be a blessing to others.  Presently, Fresh Anointing Christian Center is doing a great work in the community by feeding and clothing those in need and they have welcomed our assistance.  They are also finding ways to close other gaps in the lives of those who come to them for assistance.  As the year goes on we will present other opportunities to provide community service.  Check your family calendars and participate where you can.

If you can not attend every event or community service opportunity, I know you can participate in our Spotlight.  On the "Home" page, you will find two new sections "Spotlight" and "What's Going On".  This is where your increased interaction begins.  We need you to expound on all the achievements and accomplishment that take place in your lives.  God is in the Blessing business and we have all received countless blessings over the years.  Share your recent testimony with us (Graduations, Straight A's, Honor Roll Student, Dean's List, Student Council Member, Anniversaries, Championships, All- Star Selections, etc.).  Provide a picture and a brief description of the achievement/accomplishment.  Submit this information via our e-mail addresses found on the "Contact Us" page of the website.  Please provide a phone number in the e-mail to allow us to call and ask questions for clarity.  We will review each item submitted, and provide a fair and reasonable time for posting. 

I am expecting my e-mail to overflow.  Let us know how good God has been to you, your family and your community.  As I said earlier, 2011 is going to be a great year.  It is going to be great because of the great people participating in our programs.  I look forward to seeing each of you at our signature events, community service projects and via our website as we recognize all the good things happening in our lives.
